Riley loved the wall! He "just" wanted to go to the top! We made it to tower number nine before calling it a day. My legs were jello on the way down, but ole Riles was going strong. It was very cold...literally freezing, but we stayed warm from the steep climb.
So close, an amazing country. Praying for His favor!
ReplyDeleteWe have the option of leaving a few days early and touring Beijing. Please let me know how it goes. What to see and not see. I hear it is crazy cold there in January, of course I'm in Alabama and we are not use to cold weather. Can't wait to see Jada in your arms!
ReplyDeleteWe did not get to see the Wall. :( Really wish we had.
ReplyDeleteIt must awesome to actually be there! So neat to see you on the wall!. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy each other and the country and the freedom from responsibilities back home!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! It's real!!! Break a piece off and put it in your pocket for me. I promise you write you in the Chinese prison. :)))
ReplyDeleteBrrr....looks cold! And awesome!
ReplyDeleteawesome photos. What section of the wall did you go to?
ReplyDeleteWe just went to Badaling. The photos I've posted mostly were close to the bottom, with the museum in the background. We only climbed to tower nine. There were 2 more that we could see, but there were likely more to go than that!
