Hey Beth...have been wanting to encourage you with this. I know you're disappointed about the timing of this trip...I would be too. The word is sacrifice. It's all a sacrifice, even the timing. And truly, your being gone over Christmas is just a drop in the sacrifice bucket, you know? I don't at all mean that to sound negative...just the opposite. You'll look back, and your kids will look back, and it won't matter in the light of the joy of Jada becoming your daughter. It's just one small thing you're "giving up" to redeem her (just one of many sacrifices you have made and will make)...and the Lord receives it as a worthy sacrifice. Hope that makes sense. We are just starting our homestudy and have a referral. The wait seems forever and unfair. Thank you for sharing your photos as they help me imagine that Enmei is a better place than some for our daughter to be. I hope you travel very soon. Lesley
